Who I am
This website and its email addresses belong to me, Karol Liszniewski, a self-employed web developer (sole trader). I decide how the personal data described here is used. You can reach me at karol@karoldigital.uk.
This website
There is no contact form, no analytics and no advertising. I don't set any cookies. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie.
If you email me, or we work together, I keep your name, email address, business details and our messages. I use them to reply, to do the work you ask for, and to keep the business and tax records the law requires.
If I emailed you first, I found your address on your business website or a public business listing. I only write to business addresses, one to one, and never buy or share lists. More in my email policy.
Why I'm allowed to
- Replying to you and contacting businesses about my services: my legitimate interest in running my business.
- Work we agree on: to carry out our agreement.
- Invoices and accounts: a legal obligation.
How long I keep it
Messages, for as long as we are in touch. Invoices and records, for as long as UK tax rules require. If you ask me not to contact you again, I keep only your address on a do not contact list, so it is never emailed again.
Who else sees it
Nobody, apart from the email and hosting providers I use, who handle it on my behalf. I never sell personal data.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, or to stop using it. Write to karol@karoldigital.uk. If you are unhappy with how I handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
